Hi, my name is Alina Nelson. I graduated in August 2021 with a B.A. from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication majoring in sports journalism, with a focus in sports photography. I also studied studio photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017. I started photographing at the age of 15, and I have experience shooting a variety of sports at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. Currently, I am a team photographer for the Chicago Steel and Kenosha Kingfish. Previous experience includes the Chicago Union and Cronkite News Phoenix Sports. I am incredibly passionate about creating content for sports teams and fans. In addition to my work as a sports photographer, I also do event and portrait photography. My favorite thing about photography is immortalizing special events in people lives.
